Hello

I learned to sew at a young age, but really grew in my talent in college. With a minor in fashion design, I was able to learn about fashion, design, sewing, textiles, and more. Beyond this, I was an avid member of my university's fashion organization - MUFD (Miami University Fashion & Design). This organization allowed me to create and express myself, along with other incredibly talented students. In fact, our organization puts on the largest student-run fashion show in the nation.

Thankfully, after graduating, I was gifted with a brand new, beautiful sewing machine that has allowed me to keep creating. I love nothing more than loosing myself in the whirring of the sewing machine and Disney music (yes, that is my design music of choice).

In the summer of 2023, I was the fashion designer for a musical as part of Minnesota's Fringe Festival. Grindr Helpdesk was a one man show performed in drag, and I got to create "Candice" from scratch. It was important that her look not only communicate her personality, but also the message of the show which was both humorous and endearing. On top of that, Candice needed to complete a costume change on stage, going from working her desk to a drag show performance! Working with the creator and producer, director, and actor, we created a story unique to Candice that was so effective, it received a writeup in Broadway World. 

Now, I am working on expanding my design business with the hopes of helping other productions, as well as individuals who are looking for unique designs that help portray their inner narrative.
